Privacy policy

Last updated 6 October 2026

Invoqify is operated by Mcdigit Hub ("we", "us"). This page explains what personal information Invoqify collects, why, how long we keep it, who else handles it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect

  • Your account: name, email address, and a password stored only as a one-way hash. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, Google account ID, and profile picture, and we store the ID and picture.
  • Your invoices: the invoices you create, including your business details, your client's name and contact details, line items, and notes. You enter this yourself and it stays in your account.
  • QR codes: the destinations you set. When someone scans a dynamic QR code, we record the scan time, the country (from the country header our hosting provides with the request), and the device type. We never store the scanner's raw IP address. We store a keyed hash of it instead, which lets us count unique visitors without keeping who they are.
  • PDF files: files you upload to the PDF tools, and the results we produce. These are processed on our servers and deleted automatically (see below).
  • Payments: we never see or store your card details. Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and merchant of record, handles billing and sends us your plan status.
  • Technical data: standard server logs, and a short activity log of account actions (kept 90 days).

How we use it

We use this information to run Invoqify: to let you create and send invoices, generate and redirect QR codes, process PDFs, sign you in, show you your plan, and answer support requests. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your invoices or client details for advertising.

We use the cookies described below to keep you signed in, remember your theme, and see roughly where new visitors came from so we can tell which pages bring people to sign up.

Cookies and similar technology

  • Session cookie: keeps you signed in. Required for the app to work.
  • Security token (CSRF): protects forms against cross-site requests. Required.
  • Anonymous visitor ID (anon_id): lets someone who isn't signed in use the one free invoice, QR code, and PDF run without an account. Lasts one year.
  • Traffic source (traffic_source): records how a visitor first arrived (for example from search, the blog, or a link), set once and kept for a year. If you later sign up, this is saved to your account so we know which channels produce customers.
  • Theme preference: whether you chose light or dark mode, stored in your browser.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies: Google Analytics (GA4) and the Meta Pixel are loaded only on the production site. They set their own cookies to measure visits and, for Meta, to measure ad performance. Your browser or a privacy extension can block them.

Who else handles your information

  • Lemon Squeezy: payments, subscriptions, and invoices for your plan.
  • Google: sign-in with Google (only if you choose it) and Google Analytics.
  • Meta: the Meta Pixel, production site only.
  • Bunny Fonts: serves the typefaces this site uses. Your browser connects to it when a page loads.
  • Our email provider: delivers account emails such as verification and password resets.

These providers process information on our behalf or under their own privacy policies. We choose providers that meet a reasonable standard for handling personal data.

How long we keep it

  • Finished PDF files: deleted 24 hours after processing.
  • QR scan history on the free plan: the last 30 days. Paid plans keep the full history while the account is active.
  • Activity logs: 90 days.
  • Account and invoice data: for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account in Settings removes your account details and your saved clients. Invoices and QR codes are not removed automatically at that point; they stay until you ask us to delete them (see below). Payment records held by Lemon Squeezy are kept by them for their own legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your details in your account, export your invoices as PDFs, and delete invoices or QR codes at any time. To request a copy of everything we hold about you, or to have your invoices, QR codes, and any remaining records deleted, email info@invoqify.com from the address on your account. We'll respond within a reasonable time, and within any period the law requires where you live.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as correcting or restricting how we use your information, or complaining to a data protection authority. Contact us and we'll help.

Children

Invoqify is a business tool and isn't directed at anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email before the change takes effect.
