Can I rotate just one page in a longer document?
Yes. Pick only the pages that are actually sideways or upside down; the rest of the document stays as it is.
Why is a scanned page sideways in the first place?
Usually because the original paper went through the scanner in landscape orientation. The scan itself is fine, it just needs turning to read normally on screen.
