FAQ
What causes a PDF to need repairing?
Usually an interrupted export, a corrupted upload, or a file built by software that didn't finish writing it correctly. The structure is damaged even though most of the content is still there.
Will repair always fix it?
It rebuilds the file's internal structure and recovers what it can. If the underlying content itself is missing or badly damaged, rebuilding the structure can't bring back data that isn't there.
